I’ve received several requests lately from viewers who want to see some of the older neighborhoods inside Hot Springs Village. I’m not exactly sure what’s driving the curiosity. Maybe you’re wondering about home prices. Maybe you’re curious how well the older areas have aged. Or perhaps you’re considering moving to HSV and simply want to see more than newer homes and neighborhoods.

Whatever the reason, you asked…so I’m happy to show you.

For this episode of Hot Springs Village Inside Out, I climbed aboard the XMAX and headed toward the Cortez area, taking the new 360-degree camera along for the ride. Rather than focusing on individual houses, we’re riding through established neighborhoods so you can get a feel for them – the roads, mature trees, homes, landscaping, terrain, and overall surroundings.

One thing that’s easy to forget when looking at real estate listings online is just how much the setting matters in Hot Springs Village. A photograph of a house doesn’t necessarily show you what it feels like to drive down the street, how heavily wooded the neighborhood is, how homes sit on the terrain, or what’s around the next curve.

That’s why I enjoy making these ride-along episodes. You get to see the Village more like you would if you were here.

So come along. Let’s take a look at some of the older parts of Hot Springs Village, one road at a time.
