With the upcoming property owner’s vote about whether or not to increase monthly assessments (late 2021), we thought it’d be useful to discuss how the property owner’s association (POA) works inside Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Since Hot Springs Village is not a municipality with taxing authority, it operates much differently than the towns and cities most of us have experienced. Today we discuss some terms and basics by looking under the hood of the “government” of Hot Springs Village.
