Goose Poop happens! Goose poop is the reason HSV has to occasionally close the beaches. Today, Dennis and Todd Noles discuss the biblical amount of poop geese generate and why the Village is such a magnet for them. The golf courses, 11 lakes, no predators, and people who feed them make Hot Springs Village a mecca for Canadian geese. The federal government suggested HSV “harvest” 260 of them last year, but they remain a problem. We hope this isn’t going to be an annual episode, but time will tell.
