The 2020 census showed the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area (known worldwide as “DFW”) population of about 7.6 million. Today, in 2026, it’s estimated to be north of 8.5 million. The growth has been explosive. That contributed greatly to our decision to escape to Hot Springs Village for much of our life. Actually, for our living! And thriving!
