This episode was recorded in December 2024 in response to several emails from people planning their retirement and considering Hot Springs Village as their destination. They repeatedly asked, “How did you guys prepare for life inside the Village?” Here is my answer.
Entering 2024, I started a Google spreadsheet to begin what I dubbed “Encore Chapter v2.0—The Ideal Outcome.” An encore performance is the final group of songs after the main concert performance is over—the final act. All humans can have an encore performance if we plan it out.
For my wife Rhonda and me, it involved three different considerations:
- Money (income/expenses/savings and investing)
- Mattering
- Mind/Body/Spirit (InThyPaths.com)
