Bob Shoemaker started The Shoemaker Scholarships in memory of his late wife. Her family disapproved of women attending college so Bob decided to pay tribute to her by enabling others to achieve higher education. Bob’s service and generosity also benefit the HSV Community Foundation by helping support over 40 endowments.
